To lead our operational business and our respective teams in the CEE region (HU, PL, CZ) we are looking to hire an ambitious

COUNTRY MANAGER (m/f/d) // immediate availability // full time (40h) // Budapest

Your responsibilities:

  • Deliver the business plan for CEE (focus on EBIT) by implementing the international strategy, priorities and key processes
  • Adopt and localize strategy based on local market, competitive and client insights, shared with the international board
  • Lead local business development experts (7 FTE) in Warsaw and Budapest with strategic direction and hands-on support (lead generation, pitches, account management) to ensure that we deliver our revenue targets in every market
  • Personally involved in nurturing connections with new and existing clients at a senior level and leading x-functional teams in strategic pitches to convincingly present our social media, influencer & word-of-mouth marketing services
  • Leading client service teams (ca 15 FTE) to deliver successful social media & influence marketing programs for our clients 
  • Establish structures, policies and processes that drive efficiencies and deliver profitable growth across the region
  • Excite clients and colleagues with energy, passion and intercultural communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Facilitate and drive international exchange and best practice sharing including regular updates with global management
  • Close collaboration with our Finance and HR in CEE region •You will report directly to the International Business Development Executive Director (C-level)

You can provide:

  • Min 10 years leadership experience and track record in recruiting, training and motivating employees
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economy/Business Administration
  • Familiarity with the FMCG/CPG industry – either as an employee in marketing/sales, or account manager at an agency 
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with developing business plans, forecasts and understanding your P&L
  • Outstanding people & EQ & influencing skills and the ability to sell complex ideas and proposals to demanding clients
  • Native Hungarian with advanced business English skills and willingness to travel within Europe
  • Passion for digital marketing, social media trends and influencer marketing
  • Proven sales & business development expertise – ideally coupled with leadership of B2B sales teams
